Global Kids Harrisburg provides many opportunities to empower global kids for life and service through tutoring, teaching, serving, ministering, or engaging in fun activities. GKHbg also serves global kids by partnering with churches. GKHbg seeks to love God and love others.
TUTORING
We assist our global kids with current homework assignments, math,
and reading.
SKILLS
We teach our global kids practical skills for living in an American culture. Practical skills may include cooking, telling time, understanding American holidays, using money, shopping, problem solving, good hygiene, manners, writing and mailing a letter, etc.
SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Teaching kids to work together and to give back.
SPIRITUAL MINISTRIES
We offer several spiritual ministries for our global kids, including:
"Kid's Church" - church for kids in grades 1 - 5
"Jesus Time" - discipling Christ-followers
"Bible Club" - memorizing Scripture
FUN TIMES
We provide a safe and fun environment for our global kids with opportunities to explore! We have taken trips to restaurants, parks, hikes, tourist attractions, etc.
